October 6, 2019, from 4-7:30 p.m.
101 N. Main Street, Suite 2, Marshall, NC
Have you ever imagined yourself walking through a field of lush dahlias? The fields are at their fullest in late September and early October, so join us to explore the farm and create your own dahlia arrangement. This workshop is the only opportunity to actually pick flowers that we will offer this year.
Meet at our workshop in historic Downtown Marshall, and we’ll ride to the flower fields together. We’ll do a quick tour of the production areas, and then you can cut a handful of special blooms that speak to you.
We’ll return to the studio to create arrangements! You’ll be able to mix your specialty dahlias with many other flowers and foliages from the farm that we’ve cut for you. Make new friends, and explore Downtown Marshall before or after the event. There are restaurants, bars, hiking trails, art studios, galleries and other attractions to enjoy!
Participants should feel comfortable walking on uneven surfaces at the farm (dirt paths). Please wear closed toed shoes suitable for walking in grass. If you are worried about bugs, please wear long pants.
Workshop tickets are nonrefundable. They are transferable. Carolina Flowers reserves the right to cancel the workshop for any reason, including (and especially) poor weather. In the event that Carolina Flowers cancels the workshop, you will receive a full refund.
